Open a work order
- Open the job and click Work Order on the Details tab, or open the booking on the Calendar.
- Or open More → Work Orders (under Sales) and pick the job.
Edit it
- Under Services, add a Shop note to any service, or hide a service from the sheet.
- Write the Shop instructions for the crew.
- Under What to include, turn Pricing and Internal notes on or off. Internal notes only show when you print.
- Click Save. The preview on the right shows the sheet. Click Discard to undo your changes.
To change the date, time, crew, services or customer, click Edit job.
Send or print it
- Click Send.
- Under Send to crew, tick the people, and choose Email, Text message or Staff portal. Add anyone else under Also send to, and a Message.
- Send it. The crew gets a link to the sheet, where they can Download PDF, Print, and tap "Got it — I've read this".
Sent to the crew shows who opened it, with Read receipts. Click Print / PDF to print it yourself.
Make a work order by hand
For a repair or redo with nothing to invoice, click New Work Order on the Work Orders page. Fill in the job, customer, vehicle, services, crew and time. Tick Also add a calendar appointment to put it on the calendar, and This redoes earlier work to mark it as a redo.
The Source filter on the Work Orders page shows where each one came from: From a quote, From a proposal, Invoiced or Unattached. The Send Work Order to Staff automation action sends them automatically.
