Quotes and proposals

Let customers make an offer on a quote (Last Offer)

Last Offer lets a customer suggest a price on a quote you sent, instead of only accepting or declining.

Set it up

  1. Open More, then Last Offer (in Sales).
  2. Turn on Enable Last Offer.
  3. Under Discount Limits, set the Maximum Discount (%) a customer can ask for.
  4. Under Offer Strength Thresholds, set the Strong Threshold (%) and Fair Threshold (%). Turn on Show Strength Indicator to Customers to show them how strong their offer is.
  5. Under Auto-Processing, optionally set Auto-Accept Below (%) and Auto-Decline Above (%). Leave them empty to review every offer yourself.
  6. Under Display & Behavior, choose Allow Customer Message and the Offer Expiry (hours).
  7. Pick how you're told about offers under Notifications, then click Save Settings. Preview shows what the customer sees.

Turn it on for a quote

When you send a quote, turn on Enable Last Offer in the send window. The customer then sees Have a different budget in mind? and a Make an Offer button. They enter Your Offer, an optional message, and click Submit Your Offer.

Answer an offer

Open the quote. The offer panel shows the Quote Total, Offer Amount, Discount and any Customer Message. Click Accept to accept the quote at their price, Decline, or Counter to enter a Counter-Offer Amount and click Send Counter. The customer can then Accept Counter-Offer or Decline.

Tip

Automations can react to offers with the Smart Offer Received, Accepted, Declined and Countered triggers.
