Choose what Call buttons do
Go to More, then Calling. Under Call buttons open, pick:
- In Wrapstart: calls from your business number and logs the call on the customer.
- RingCentral app: opens RingCentral, if you use it.
- Phone app: calls from your own phone number.
This setting is for this phone only.
Make a call
- Tap Call on a lead, customer or booking, or the phone icon at the top of a conversation.
- To dial any number, open Messages and tap the keypad icon at the top. Type the number (hold 0 for +) and tap the green button. It shows if the number belongs to a customer or lead.
Calls always go out from your business number. If your shop calls through RingCentral, RingCentral rings your phone first, then the customer.
During a call
You can Mute, turn on Speaker, open the Keypad to press menu options, and end the call. If the call is being recorded, it says so, and Stop rec. stops the recording.
Answer calls on your phone
- Go to More, then Calling.
- Under Incoming calls, turn on Ring this phone.
- Allow the microphone when asked.
Calls to your business number then ring like a normal call, even when the app is closed. With a Wrapstart number it starts on. Each team member turns it on for their own phone, and their role needs to see Messages.
If you forward calls to one phone number in the web settings, only that number rings, not the app.
Find past calls
Calls show in the customer's conversation as Inbound call, Outbound call, Missed call, No answer or Voicemail. Tap one to play the recording and read the transcript. For a list of every call, use the Calls tab in the Message Centre on the web.
