Build the quote
- Open Quotes and click New Quote. You can also start one from a customer's profile, a lead, the Message Centre, or the + button in the header.
- Pick the Customer or Lead and their vehicle. Add a Service Date and drop-off time if you know them.
- Under Quote Items, click Add Service to add work from your services. Prices come from your Price Book for that vehicle, or from the service's size pricing. Use Add Custom Item for anything else, Add Product for products you sell, or Measure & Price to price by square foot.
- Add any optional Add-ons the customer can choose, your Terms & Conditions and Notes (visible to customer).
- Open Quote Options to ask for a deposit, attach files or photos, add design proofs, and write Internal Notes only your team sees.
- Check the total and click Create Quote. It's saved as a Draft and opens.
Valid for (days) at the top sets how long the quote stays open. The expiry date shows below it.
Send it
- On the quote, click Send.
- Choose Email, SMS or Both, and check the address and number.
- Add a Custom Message if you like. Turn on Send later to pick a date and time.
- Click Send Quote (or Schedule).
The customer gets a link to view the quote, accept it, pay a deposit or decline it. Share Link copies the same link for you to send yourself.
After the customer accepts
- Schedule Booking opens a new booking filled in from the quote. Check it and save.
- Convert to Invoice creates a draft invoice from the quote. Afterwards the button opens that invoice.
- Duplicate Quote (under More actions) starts a new quote with the same items.
Change a quote you've sent
Click Edit. Wrapstart asks for a Reason first and keeps it in the quote's Change History. If the customer had already accepted or paid a deposit and the work changes, the quote moves to Updated and they accept it again. Editing doesn't send anything, so send it again when you're ready.
