Supported sources
- OrbisX, Urable, TintWiz and Zoho Books: upload the invoice export from each app.
- TORQ CRM: upload the invoice list export. Customers come across with their invoices. TORQ's export has no payment amounts, so a Partially Paid invoice arrives as Partial with the full total owing: record the payments already received on it after the import.
- QuickBooks: invoices are not imported from a file. Connect QuickBooks under Integrations and they sync.
Open and closed invoices both come across
The importer reads what has been paid on each invoice. A fully paid invoice arrives as Paid; one with money still owing arrives as Partial, Sent or Overdue with the balance due on it, and drafts or cancelled invoices keep that status. From OrbisX, Urable and TintWiz the payments themselves are also recorded, so the customer timeline and the Payments report show them. Zoho Books and TORQ bring the amount paid and balance, but not the individual payments. Import the export as it is, without editing it.
Customers and duplicates
Each invoice is matched to a customer by email, phone and name. When no customer matches, the preview counts the row as needing a customer. Choose Auto-create customers to create them as part of the import, or Select manually to pick the customer yourself (on TORQ: Create them as customers or Pick customers myself). An invoice you already imported is marked Duplicate (on TORQ, Already imported) and skipped, so a second upload of the same file does not double anything. TintWiz can update an invoice imported before, linking its services and vehicle.
After the import
When you import from the Invoices page, Wrapstart offers to match the imported line items to your own services, so revenue by service stays accurate. Imported invoices count in Reports (Revenue, Invoices and Sales Tax) by their invoice date.
Import customers first, then invoices. Invoices are attached to customers by email and phone, and a missing customer is the most common reason a row needs attention.
