Reports

The Attribution report

The Attribution tab on Reports lists what people did on your lead forms and Online Shop, and how they got there. Use it to see which ads and posts bring people in and which of them go on to book.

What it lists

Each row is one event: Page visit, Form submitted, Booking submitted or Deposit paid. It shows the Channel, the person (or "Anonymous" for visitors who haven't sent anything yet), the source and medium, the campaign, the ad or term, the referrer and the page, with the time. Click a name to open the lead.

Channels are Paid Search, Paid Social, Paid Other, Organic Search, Organic Social, Email, SMS, Referral and Direct. Use the All channels and All events filters to narrow the list.

First or last attribution

  • Last attribution (the default) shows each event with the campaign that brought the person that time.
  • First attribution shows the first thing Wrapstart recorded for each person, including visits before they filled in a form, so you see what found them first.

When a visitor sends a form, their earlier anonymous visits are linked to the new lead. Anonymous visits are kept for 180 days.

Tip

Attribution is only as good as your links. Add UTM tags to every ad, post and email link. See See where each lead came from.

For lead counts and win rates by source and campaign, see Leads and campaign performance.
