Wrapstart AI

Set up the Lead Agent

The Lead Agent talks to your leads by text and email, and on Facebook and Instagram when they message you there. It answers questions from your services, prices, proposals and knowledge base, sends quotes and proposals, and books appointments.

Turn it on

  1. Go to Wrapstart AI and open Lead Agent. Use the switch at the top to make it Active.
  2. Open How does Lead Agent work? to see what it still needs, like services and pricing, availability and standing rules.
  3. Click Settings at the top to open Lead Agent Settings. Change what you need and click Save Settings.

Which leads it works

Under Which Leads, turn on Engage every new lead automatically to have it start on new leads by itself. That covers leads from your website lead form, Facebook and Instagram, leads you add in Wrapstart, and anyone who texts or emails you. Leads from other places, like the online shop or a phone call, start once they message you. Imported leads never start it.

With it off (the default), it only works leads you give it:

  • On a lead's page or in the Assigned column on Leads, choose Assign to Lead Agent.
  • On the Lead Agent's Leads tab, click Assign Lead, pick the leads and click Start agent on them.
  • In an automation, add an Assign Lead Agent step.
Tip

To keep the AI away from one person, turn off AI engagement on their lead or customer profile. That wins over every other setting.

How much it may do alone

Under Autonomy Level, pick one:

  • Approval Required (the default): it drafts every message and action and waits for you.
  • Auto-Response: it replies and acts on its own. Under Approvals, you can still require your OK for Quotes and proposals, Bookings and Discounts.
  • Suggestion Only: it suggests what to do but never sends anything.

The other settings

  • Priced documents: when a customer wants a price, send Quotes only, Proposals first, or Decide per conversation. Proposals first needs saved proposal templates.
  • Discount the agent may offer: a % off the quote. Anything above it always needs your OK. At 0% it never discounts and hands the conversation to you.
  • Communication Style: Professional, Friendly or Casual.
  • Channel Permissions: SMS and Email. Facebook and Instagram replies go with SMS.
  • Message Limits: the most AI messages a day.
  • Response Speed: from Instant to Relaxed (1 hour).
  • Contact Hours: the hours it may send. Drafts outside them wait and go out when the window opens.
  • Follow-Up Schedule: when it follows up after a lead goes quiet. After the last one, it stops and lets you know.
