Each camera shows a picture that refreshes every few seconds (you choose 2 to 60). It's a live view, not a recording: Wrapstart doesn't record or play back video.
Which cameras work
Pick your brand when you add a camera: Hikvision (also HiLook, Annke and many NVRs), Dahua (also Amcrest, Lorex and EmpireTech), Reolink, Axis, Uniview, Ubiquiti UniFi, Foscam, TP-Link Tapo or Other brand. Ring, Nest, Arlo and Wyze cameras only stream to their own apps, so they can't be added.
Set up the Camera Bridge
The Camera Bridge is a small app on a computer at your shop that reads the cameras on your network, so there's nothing to change on your router. Click Camera Bridge, then Get a pairing code (it works for 30 minutes). Pick Windows, Mac or Docker, NAS or Pi and follow the steps on that computer. Keep it running; your bridges show Online or Offline under Your bridges.
Add a camera
- Click Add camera and pick your brand.
- If your brand offers a choice, pick Through the Camera Bridge (recommended) or Directly over the internet for cameras already reachable from outside the shop. UniFi and Tapo always use the Bridge.
- Through the Bridge: pick the camera from Found on your network or type its address, enter the Username and Password, a Name like "Bay 1" and an optional Station, then click Connect camera. When the first picture arrives, click Done.
- Directly: enter the address, Port, Username and Password, click Find camera, then Next. Add a Name, an optional Station, how often to Refresh every, and Alert me if it goes offline. Click Add camera.
Arrange and view
- Drag a camera tile onto another to reorder them. Click a tile to view it full screen.
- Edit a camera to rename it, change how often it refreshes, Test it, hide it with Show this camera, or Remove it.
- Your cameras also show on a Home page widget.
Who can manage cameras
Everyone who can open Cameras can watch. Only the Owner, Admin and Manager roles can add, edit, remove or reorder cameras, because camera settings hold your camera logins. Logins are stored encrypted and never sent to anyone's browser.
In the Wrapstart app, open Cameras to watch. The app is view only: add and edit cameras on the web.
