Messages and phone

Send photos and files in messages

Attach photos, PDFs and documents to texts and emails, and what customers receive on each channel.

Attach a file

  1. In the message box, click the paperclip (Attach file).
  2. Choose Upload File to pick from your computer, From Documents to pick from your Documents library, or Design Proof to send a proof for approval.
  3. Or drag files straight onto the conversation.

You can attach up to 5 files, each up to 10 MB: JPEG, PNG, GIF and WebP images, PDF, Word and Excel files, and TXT or CSV files.

What the customer gets

  • By text: photos arrive as a picture message. Large photos are shrunk first. Carriers limit the size of picture messages, so send big files by email.
  • By email: photos show in the email, and other files come as download links.
  • On Messenger or Instagram: send one file per message.
Good to know

If you text through Quo, picture messages can't be sent; use email instead. In the phone app you can send up to 10 photos with Take Photo or Choose from Library.
