How the source is set
- Leads from your lead forms carry the form they came from.
- Bookings from your Online Shop have the source Online Shop.
- Friends who use a referral link show Referral from the customer's name.
- Imported leads keep the source from your file.
- For leads you add by hand, pick the Source yourself.
Ad and campaign tracking
When someone reaches your lead form or Online Shop from a Google or Facebook ad, or from a link with UTM tags, Wrapstart remembers it for 90 days. If they come back later through another tagged link, the newer one is kept.
Open the lead and look at the Marketing attribution card. It shows the Source / medium, Campaign, Term / content, Ad click, Referrer and Landing page.
Add UTM tags to every link you share, for example yourlink?utm_source=instagram&utm_medium=bio&utm_campaign=spring-tint. Then each post, ad or email shows up as its own campaign.
For Facebook Lead Ads, the campaign name is in the lead's notes.
See the totals
Open Reports. The Leads tab shows By Source, Source Performance and Campaign Performance, which follows each ad campaign to paid invoices. The Attribution tab breaks leads down by channel, using the last campaign by default (switch to First attribution to see what found them first).
Common questions
#### Do I need my own domain for email campaigns?
Yes. Campaigns send from your own email domain. See Get ready to send email campaigns.
#### Why do my campaign opens and clicks show 0?
Finish step 6, Turn on tracking, in Settings, then Email. Results count from then on.
#### Why were some people skipped?
The audience shows the reason next to each count: no permission to email, unsubscribed, bounced or reported spam, emailed in the last 16 hours, or the same address as another contact.
#### How do I change a campaign I already scheduled?
Open it and click Cancel campaign. It goes back to Draft so you can edit and schedule it again.
#### Why didn't Review Received run for my older reviews?
It only runs for reviews that arrive after you connect Google Business.
#### Can customers book online without paying a deposit?
Yes. In Online Shop, open Deposits and turn off Ask for a deposit.
#### Does my Meta Pixel run on my own website?
Only if you add it there. Marketing Tags covers the pages Wrapstart hosts for you.
