Create and send an email campaign

Let Wrapstart AI draft a campaign or start from a template, pick who gets it, test it and send it now or later.

Start with AI

  1. On Email Campaigns, click Create.
  2. Under What do you want this campaign to do?, pick a goal like More bookings, Fill a slow week, Win back past customers, Get reviews, Seasonal promo or Newsletter.
  3. Add Which services? (optional) and Anything else? (optional), turn on Include an offer if you have one, and choose Who gets it?.
  4. Click Build my campaign. Read Here's what I built, then click Open in builder, or Change the brief to try again.

To start without AI, click Start without AI and pick Blank or a template like Limited-time offer, New service launch, Project showcase, Monthly newsletter, We miss you, Maintenance reminder or Review request.

Step 1: Content

The builder has three steps at the top: 1. Content, 2. Audience and 3. Review & send. Your work saves as you go.

  • Add: click a block to add it, such as Image, Heading, Paragraph, Button, Offer, Services, Before & after, Referral and Social. Click a block in the email to edit it.
  • AI: Rewrite this… to reword the selected text, or Subject line ideas.
  • Styles: the email's colours, font and button shape.
  • Details: the Campaign name (only you see it), the Subject line (try to keep it under 60 characters) and the Preview text shown next to the subject in the inbox.

Use Insert field to add things like the customer's first name. If a field is empty for someone, a fallback is used instead, such as "there" in "Hi there". Import HTML brings in a design you made elsewhere, and Preview shows the email as your customers will see it.

Step 2: Audience

  1. Under Send to, pick Customers, Leads or Customers and leads.
  2. Narrow it down if you like: by tag, services they had, last visit, Spent at least, City or the vehicles they drive.
  3. Use Leave out to skip people, for example anyone booked in the last month.
  4. Click Save as segment to reuse the same list next time.

The page shows how many people will get it, and how many are skipped and why, such as No permission to email, Unsubscribed or Emailed in the last 16 hours. See Get ready to send email campaigns.

Step 3: Review & send

  • Before you send lists anything that still needs fixing.
  • Send me a test emails a copy to you, or to the address you type. Always check it on your phone.
  • Test two subject lines: a Test group (10% to 50% of the list) gets one of two subjects. After the time you set in Pick the winner after, the subject with the most clicks goes to everyone else.
  • Resend to people who didn't click sends a follow-up later to anyone who didn't click.

Click Send now or Schedule for later and confirm.

Tip

To change a scheduled campaign, open it and click Cancel campaign. It goes back to Draft, so you can edit it and schedule it again.
