Twilio
Twilio is Wrapstart's recommended phone partner. With your own Twilio account, Twilio bills you directly for texts and calls.
- Connect your Twilio account: paste your Account SID and Auth Token from your Twilio Console home page, then click Connect.
- Pick your number: choose it and click Use this number. If the account has none, buy one in the Twilio Console and click Refresh.
- Twilio set up for Wrapstart: click Set up Twilio for me. This points the number's calls and texts at Wrapstart and sets up calling from the browser.
- Check it works: click Re-check, then enter your mobile and use Call my phone and Text my phone.
- How calls ring: turn on Calls on this number. Turn on Forward incoming calls to a phone only if you want calls sent to another phone instead of ringing Wrapstart.
Under Your lines, click Add a number to use more numbers from the same account.
A Twilio trial account can only call and text numbers you've verified in Twilio. Upgrade it in the Twilio Console before customers can reach you. US numbers must also be registered for texting in Twilio.
RingCentral
On the RingCentral tab, click Connect, then Continue to RingCentral and sign in. Texts go both ways, including pictures. For calls, RingCentral rings your own phone first, then dials the customer (Call from my phone). Choose Number Wrapstart answers for and Number outbound calls show. Your number must already be registered for texting in RingCentral.
Quo
On the Quo tab, paste an API key from your Quo workspace (you need to be its Owner or Admin) and click Connect. Texts go both ways, but you can't send pictures. Incoming calls are logged with Quo's transcript and summary. Calls out aren't made through Quo.
