Terms of Service
These Terms apply to services provided by [Shop Name] (“we”, “us”, “our”), located at [Shop Address], and to your use of yourshop.com. By requesting a quote, booking an appointment, or having work performed, you agree to these Terms. Please also read our Privacy Policy.
1. Quotes and estimates
Quotes are based on the information and photos you provide and on the vehicle's condition as described. Final pricing may change if the vehicle differs from what was described, if additional work is needed to achieve a proper result (for example paint correction before film or coating), or if you change the scope. We will tell you before doing any work that changes the price. Quotes are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise.
Change 30 days if your quotes are valid for a different period.2. Bookings, deposits and cancellations
A deposit may be required to reserve your appointment and order materials. Deposits are applied to your final invoice. If you cancel or reschedule with less than 48 hours' notice, or do not show up, we may keep the deposit to cover materials already ordered and time reserved. If we need to reschedule, we will give you as much notice as we can and your deposit remains fully applied to your job.
Match this to your real deposit and cancellation policy — refundable or not, and the notice period you actually enforce.3. Payment
The balance is due when the work is complete and before the vehicle is released, unless we have agreed otherwise in writing. We accept the payment methods shown on your invoice. Vehicles not paid for and collected within 7 days of completion may incur storage fees.
4. Your vehicle and personal property
Please remove personal belongings before dropping off your vehicle; we are not responsible for items left inside. You confirm that you own the vehicle or are authorised to have work performed on it. We will take reasonable care of your vehicle while it is in our possession. Pre-existing damage, paint defects, prior repairs and aftermarket parts are noted at intake and are not our responsibility.
5. The work and its limits
Vinyl wrap, paint protection film, window tint, ceramic coating and detailing are applied to the vehicle's existing surfaces. Results depend on the condition of the paint and body underneath. Film and vinyl may show minor seams, relief cuts or edges that are inherent to the process, and some stretching, lifting or tucking at complex curves is normal. Removing wraps or film can expose existing paint problems or lift paint that has been repainted or is failing; we are not responsible for damage to compromised paint. Window tint must comply with the laws where you drive; you are responsible for choosing a legal shade.
6. Warranty
Our workmanship is covered by the written warranty provided with your invoice. Materials are covered by the manufacturer's warranty, which we will help you register where applicable. Warranties do not cover damage from accidents, misuse, improper care, automatic car washes, pressure washing at edges, environmental contamination, or normal wear. Warranty claims must be brought to us for inspection before any repair.
State your actual workmanship warranty period and what it covers, or link your warranty page.7. Text messaging (SMS) terms
By opting in to text messages from [Shop Name], you agree to receive customer-care and transactional messages about quotes, estimates, appointments, deposits, invoices, payments, vehicle status, pickup, and warranty or service reminders. Message frequency varies; a typical customer receives 1–10 messages per job. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase. For assistance, call [Shop Phone] or email [Shop Email]. Mobile numbers and SMS consent data are not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. How we collect consent is described at SMS Consent & Messaging. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
8. Website use and content
The content on our website — text, photos of our work, logos and designs — belongs to us or is used with permission and may not be copied or used commercially without our consent. Photos of your vehicle may be used in our portfolio and social media unless you tell us in writing that you prefer otherwise.
If you never publish customer vehicle photos, delete the last sentence.9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount you paid us for the work in question. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as loss of use of the vehicle, rental costs, or diminished value. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be excluded.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of [State/Province] and the applicable federal laws, and any dispute will be resolved in the courts of [State/Province].
11. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they were last changed. The Terms in effect when you book apply to that job.
